Laky Verf 11MM: a seaworthy aluminium power cabin cruiser

The new Laky Verf 11MM high-speed sea-going boat is available for inspection at the Burevestnik Yacht Club. This mighty cabin cruiser boat has the design and construction similar to military and rescue vessels and is a real do-it-all deal — it can be used for cruising along rivers or sea coasts, for fishing tours or just as a weekend cruiser with the ability to tow water skiers, wakeboarders or inflatable toys. The boat is designed to maintain very high standards of safety during heavy weather conditions and is fully packed to provide a comfortable stay on board for long periods of time.

The hull contains four watertight compartments and is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium-magnesium alloy with a fendering collar made of soft polyurethane foam. The vessel will remain afloat ‘even with multiple penetrations of varying diameters.’ Simply put, the 11MM won't sink, even when riddled with bullets. Two outboard engines with a combined 600 horsepower push her to speeds of more than 40 knots. It is also possible to fit three outboards if desired. Four shock suspension crew seats with safety belts are installed in the salon, and the forward cabin is equipped with a sofa bed, fridge, table and microwave. A bathroom is provided in the salon. Plenty of storage compartments allow you to bring plenty of gear and supplies onboard.

The boat is built by an experienced shipyard Laky Verf, which is best know for its key product — patrol boats for coast guards, rescue and emergency services and other authorities. Previously the yard also delivered a number of Dutch-designed luxury motor yachts.
